Cookie Policy
Last updated: 30 October 2026
Cookies are small files your browser stores when you visit a website. This policy explains which ones DealOwl uses, what for, and how you control them. It complements our Privacy Policy.
How your choice works
On your first visit we show a notice. No optional cookie is switched on before you accept. You can accept all, reject non-essential cookies, or choose by category, and rejecting is as easy as accepting. Your choice lasts 12 months and you can change or withdraw it at any time.
Categories
| Category | Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary (always on) | bb_consent (your browser’s local storage) | Remembers your cookie choice | 12 months |
| Third party (retailers) | Vary by retailer | When you click “View at retailer” you leave our site: the retailer may set affiliate cookies to credit the sale, and its own cookies. These follow the retailer’s policy | Set by the retailer |
What we don’t use
We don’t use behavioural advertising cookies or cross-site tracking. Our own visit measurement doesn’t use cookies: your IP address and browser become an anonymous code that changes every day, and your IP address isn’t stored (see the Privacy Policy).
How to block or delete cookies
Besides the site’s preferences, you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge). Blocking the necessary ones won’t stop you browsing, but the notice may appear again. For Google Analytics you can also use Google’s opt-out add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout).
Changes
If we start using other cookies we will update this page and ask for your choice again.
